Short seller activity in Equinor (EQNR) fell sharply this month despite broader volatility in the energy sector as concerns grow around the ongoing blockage of the Strait of Hormuz. Equinor outperformed as it announced a series of oil and gas discoveries in the North Sea on March 10th, following the news of a strategic lithium deal with Trafigura the day prior.
